Guide to the Best Gear for Combat

Not all boosts are created equal. This list takes the results from the Guide to Combat Boosts and attempts to offer an answer to the question - what is the best combat gear?

This list is created by adding together all of the combat boosts which are then weighted by how effective they are.

Tier 1 Boosts: Troop Attack, Enemy Attack Debuff

Tier 2 Boosts: Troop Health, Enemy Health Debuff

Tier 3 Boosts: Troop Defense, Enemy Defense Debuff

Tier 4 Boosts: Trap Boosts, Siege Boosts

Checking out our Guide to Combat Boosts for more info.

This list is automatically kept up to date as new gear is released

When attacking, you generally want to be attacking with one troop type. As such, in the Attack Gear list, 50% cavalry attack is better than 30% troop attack.

This is not relevant for most players, but if you are going to be zeroing people with over 20mil troops then the optimum gear becomes very different. Specifically Health Debuff and Defense Boost become pointless and Defense Debuff becomes very good.

  1. witch one is the best Fire Age Set Gear? Range Cav or Inf?

  2. I don’t think that you considered the health boost on the Colossus Vembraces. Right now they are way low and should be pretty high right?

  3. Can you explain how you’re calculating that bottom-line boosts number? I was looking at top L50 “bargain” gear and I can’t for the life of me figure out how Hygieias Pendant beats Petasos Gear for the accessory slot (16.8% v/s 16.4%). It seems like since attack > health that 24% ranged attack should trump 24% health (plus Patasos has 12% health buried in there too). Is your formula only giving “partial credit” for type-specific troop boosts?

  4. You forgot col armor health stats

  5. Where did the Risque Gown go? Not on any list through top 20. Thanks!

  6. I’m trying to pick what gear to craft from what I have available for a turtle and am hung up on armor. I have 80% chance for gold Risqué, 60% for gold 40% purple Firelord armor, or 80% for the purple Shogun armor. My silver budget only allows for one chance, which would be the best to invest in?

    • any small guy (under academy 21) that constructs any gear or uses any gems with debuff will get destroyed. A typical attacker will be able to resist most if not al of it making that stuff useless. If you’re under academy 21, a lot of the lists in this website are irrelevant to you.

      • heras gown or hogzilla cape would benefit a turtle. older gear also drops off less at purple unlike the newer gear

question: looking to craft siege gear. if i am attacking a trap account and start w full siege march first, does hero have to be present in that march to apply siege boosts? if so, if they have more powerful/more wall traps than troops i send, my hero is gone right?

  8. Why is the new xena kunai or whatever it is better than the samari sheath for attacking? The xena has no attack bonuses and the sheath does.

  9. Yes is it best to craft complete sets or the best individual pieces

  10. Jonathan Steinmetz aka EL DIA3L0

Risque Gown has fallen off the list

  11. On another note Shag.. I got a little complaint to.. Your suicide tree for cores and pieces is a mess. It’s doesn’t separate out very well by troop type.. If I pick range for example there are so many infantry cores and pieces there.. But for hitting super bigs I actually prefer the attack charts.. But that is for accounts over 50m troops.. Where you main Goal is to kill at least one more troop then your March size to insure your hero returns.. I want to try the suicide version and see how the additional defense buffs and health boost can aid in minimizing loss as for some lossing entire marches over and over gets costly.. Please see if you can fix that please.

    Rom..

  12. You are not understanding how boosts are applied. They are not applied to the troops. The are but a small part of a calculation and only apply to the hero boost. Attack or attack buff is not different because you have more or less troops. At no point do the boosts actually apply to troops. They are actually applied to an attack power equation given to each troop based in tiers. And if you are running 15m troops you should actually be focusing more on defense for rally defense cause of the linear effect of defense and health based on troop counts. At around 8-10m defending troops defense actually overtakes attack in the battle calculations. At this point health has no effect at all. Based in this simple math you would actually be better using attack debuff, defense and health debuff for defending with that many troops. But this also varies some based on what the tier of the troops are… Again back to the attack power equations based in tiers.. If you read the turtle account build guides 6-10 (I think) Shaggy actually does an outstanding job with chats and graphs of detailing exactly how all this works.. You just have to use that middle and apply to a larger account. His testing is spot on with the results I’ve gotten doing my own test for over 2 years of playing..

To answer the rest of you.. The linear effect of boosts based on troops actually has a bearing on the charts and rankings you see. The defense chart is geared for an even vs even troop setting. So as troops counts increase or decrease some of those rankings do very some. Again refer to 6-10 of the turtle account build.

    • Thanks for the info. I’ll read up on the turtle post.

    • Romulus:

Thanks for the insight man. Can you hit me up in game? I have a quick question for you . I’m xX Nester Xx – 402

    • I currently have 20m t4 and I am at 1.7m power. ..Should I focus more on debuff gems in defense or troop attack/health and defense gems?
      I recently caught 4 hero with cores though…Please, I need your help..Thanks

  13. I can’t figure out for defense how the eyepatch is only slightly better then the Xena crown? For a trap the only benefit is the 36% health…the eyepatch has 20% health debuff so it is still 16% off but it has in addition 45%defense and 47%trap attack…..xean has defense debuff but I was told that is useless for a trap. any words of wisdom since I am think of replacing my crown with eyepatch?

  14. I’m noticing with the new gear it list a specific strat bonus. does this mean if it does not specifically list a strat bonus you are. it getting one ?

  15. Any debuffs are irrelevant if you are defending. Choosing gear that has, say, a 33% attack debuff is a waste if you’re defending with 10m troops vs a 2.375m incoming rally.

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

What makes you think it is irrelevant?

      • maybe not irrelevant but a waste of gems/gear. My main account defends against rallies. I have 15m troops. if I had to choose a gem/gear that offered either troop attack or troop attack debuff, the troop attack is applied to my 15m troops while an attack debuff is only applied to the 2.4m troops in the rally. For instance, the xena elite toes are ranked very high and would be a terrible choice for someone like me to use. I feel a lot of gear listed under defense shouldn’t be as high as they are because in almost all cases, the defender will have 2-5x the troop count than the attacker does.

  16. Please update with Risqué gown and I would to understand how the weighted total is calculated please.

  17. Your lists do not include the Risque Gown. Please update.

  18. I wanted to ask. The equipment showed on top are best for some troop type but not all.
Can we have a list of best equipment for each type ( with the set bonuses ) and a set for maxing troop attack for a balanced set?

    Thank you

  19. Hi,

What about the risque gown ?

  20. Question… Were the debuff combat boosts tested or just assumed they are the equivalent of their counter parts?

For instance the attack debuff when used for offence debuffs far more troops than using it to defend.

    Example:
Attacking with 375k troops using 100% attack debuff and the defending city having 3 mil troops would debuff that cities 3 mil troop attack percentage. A pretty big debuff.

    The flip side:
Defending with attack debuff 100% only debuffs 375k troops. Still effective both ways but shouldn’t they be separated and gear ranking be based on that? Rather than ranking the debuffs in line with their direct counter parts?

It would seem logical to me that attack debuff would be more equal to health and health debuff would be more equal to attack. Since Attack debuff saves more troops and health debuff would kill more troops lower the heath and the other lower the attack? Not really sure just posing a question. Great site as always and thanks for hard work!

  21. How come the Pheonix Chaos is better than Kunoichis Kunai?

  22. I am sure many in here would love to see a Monster Hunting Guide please think about it. Monsters are very important in the game and definitely is not an easy topic plus we have new monster gear. Maybe including info about what skill to focus on and so on . Thanks in advance

  23. Slaggy, where are you and the updates? Lots of new cores/gems/gear and nothing but crickets.

  24. how do rate the hydra fang blades?

  25. Profile photo of Jack G

I may be understanding the metrics you are using incorrectly but I can not understand how Hera’s gown is better than the tutu. You have attack as a tier 1 boost health as 2 and def as 3. Hera is boasting 40 def and 30 health, while the tutu runs 35 health and 25 attack. Surely the 25 attack as a tier 1 boost is worth wore than the 40 defense. I’m going to run tests on this myself but I just don’t understand your ranking system

    • Profile photo of Jack G

I’m noticing a lot of individual troop attack boosts in these gears. Are they being factored in the same as overall attack? Because individual troop attacks are not worth the same as the overall

      • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hi, the attack list takes the largest of the individual troop attacks based on the assumption that you are attacking one troop type (and ignores the rest). The defense list divides the individual troop attacks by three as it assumes you are defending with a balanced army.

  26. Sorry. In my last question I accidentally omitted “rank higher on your list than the needled heart.”

  27. I thought enemy defense debuff was one of the most effective boosts when attacking someone with 10x your troops (suicide situations), so I’m curious why the the ornate tusk (as well as many other weapons) rank higher on your list. Could you explain this to me? ..Thanks! Great site!

    • Maybe it’s because Enemy Health Debuff of the Needled Heart becomes less valuable against large armies? Therefore, the Attack boost and Enemy Defense Debuff aren’t as valuable as attacking with Infantry troops using the Ornate Tusk which has high Infantry Attack and high Troop Health. That’s a guess. Just trying to think through this. Clarification much appreciated 🙂

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hi, very simply it is just because the others have higher boosts overall

  28. MZ also snuck in a new weapon under Super Hydra Event Gear that’s looking pretty good, will you be adding that to the gear soon?

  29. Slaggy , I have heras gown (versatile) but wondering if something lower ranked like Minotuar r or hogzilla will be be better for attacking with an missile or soloing smaller guys with using one troop type … similarly i have a reapers for example but crafted the elephant helm for calv attack…..i don’t have mats for the tiara or needled heart …mainly i am looking to decrease losses..i suppose i could do tile battle to see…..your graphs in guide to combat boost start from a beeline of defense m, health exec so probably a good idea to start there….i am assuming if you really boosted health and ignored defense might be bad.

A suggestion for you! Add what type of gear it favors in the list like Hogzilla (R) for ranged leaning.

Keep up the great work. i tell people a lll over the kingdom about your site.

  30. This may be asking for to much.
But I think it would be amazing if we could get a tool where you could input the quantity and quality of the materials you currently own. Then it would calculate the best items or recommended “sets” based on your available mats.

I just opened over 1000 chests, I don’t plan on buying anymore for awhile, and my luck quality is pretty sporadic. This tool would help me choose which gear to blow my Gold Mats on and which to just make Purple.
You guys are awesome! That’s for everything.

  31. Hi

If I want to maximize my defence, shoud I use all of the xena gear ranked on the very top in the defence list? Thank you very much.

  32. Has the new fire age gear been added yet

  33. New gear just dropped. Looks really good

  34. Profile photo of Maximus7141

THNX SLAGGY ALL my hero energy’s are re-activated,WHEW I thought I lost them-I appreciate you looking into this

  35. You have the pumps of peril listed at the #1 attack footgear item. However, if attacking with infantry would it not be better to equip the slag stomper boots in order to maximize infantry attack boosts?

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hi, there is not much in it but I would say no. You gain 11% troop attack but lose 10% Troop Health and trade health debuff for the inferior defense debuff.

  36. The bargain tab for combat gear, is that geared towards a specific type? Or is it just best all around?

  37. Is there plans of separating the attack tabs by troop type? Having a boost in different troop types on multiple items doesn’t help when attacking with just one troop type.

  38. I’ve been searching but can’t find anything. Is there any gear that boosts you Hero vs Monsters?

  39. Does anybody know what the -50 on the Perseus Helm does?

  40. Do you have any plans to make a gear list for fighting monsters or farming tiles, training troops, buildings etc?

    • There’s only one set of gear to fight monsters. The Perseus gear in the Olympus set.

As for training, building, researching you can find all that stuff under Resources -> Equipment and Gear

  41. This information is Fantastic, and thank you for putting it together!! One question i have is pertaining to strategy, and targeting your troop boosts towards one specific troop type or troops in general… for example, if you know many of the players in an enemy Alliance are running ‘Ranged’ troops… but you have the items to craft Infantry gear…. but yet you know that you would be focusing on a troop type that is least effective against that other alliance.. but with good boosts…. How would you suggest proceeding? craft that gear and still focus on your 1 troop type, or maybe just try to focus only on gear that gives overall ‘troop attack boosts’ rather than specific troop attack boosts which are generally higher..

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hmm…reply didn’t seem to come through. If you are realistically only going to ever craft one strong set of combat gear I would probably focus on general troop boost and use cores to boost specific troop types as required.

  42. These are based on when crafted in gold yes? Does the list change when weapons are crafted in other colours? From what i know some weapons have great stats at gold but reduce significantly when crafted in green/blue/purple…..If so then perhaps you could add a option to sort by colour as non spenders/moderate spenders would find it difficult to craft items in gold, Cheers

  43. Profile photo of Buckles01

Is there any way to view the best for resource production/Building/Researching? or is this on the to-do list? thanks

  44. for the bargain weapons, what would you suggest if you don’t want to focus on infantry, but on ranged or cav

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hi, in all honesty the choices for non-infantry bargain weapons are so poor that I would recommend saving you materials. Focus other slots and use cores in the weapon slot for the time being.

  45. Does troop attack and troop defense bonuses also apply to traps? For example does a 10% troop attack bonus increase trap attack by 10% also?

  46. What troop boost are you referring to in the defense section?

  47. Nice website, I used to be able to see gear stats al all levels (from 1-6) and now I can only see lvl 6 Dx I do not know if I am missing something but I tried everything to change levell stats and did not work… Am I missing something or that is just no longer possible?

  48. Hi,

Please fix there error “relsease” 🙂

Keep up the good job slaggy!

  49. Nice update Slaggy! Thanks!!

  50. You have needled Heart incorrectly showing ‘attack debuff’. Its Defense Debuff which you list as tier 3 vs Tier 1 for score. Does this drastically change your opinion on where it fauls in your sets of best combat gear?

  51. Is there a certain point where adding additional + troop defense/hp becomes irrelevant?

  52. Hi, Can you display top 10 equipments by category please?
I can’t forge the best equipments.
    Thanks

  53. How come you say health debuff is irrelevant when rallying bigs? I would think it’d be useful as you’re dropping you’re targets health stat.

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hi Sean, when your opponent has enormous levels of defense (through having huge troop numbers) then it may be the case that no damage gets through at all. If this happens then debuffing health is irrelevant as you are not doing any damage!

  54. Hey slagg do u think xena crown helm is good for def?

  55. Please add new Xena valentine gear 🙂

  56. Was wondering a formula to rate boost types for normal rallies on say 5 Mil troops. Is attack 3 times as effective as defense? And also at what point does debuffs become relevant than upping my own %’s

  57. I would like to see a “Best Combat Gear” list, separated by troop type.

  58. Haha – yeah they sorta suck…. Well, comparitively. I use elite for my ranged and cav sets and the slag for infantry. Have the tail for construction boost only. Harvest boots were my goto shoes for a long time. Still pretty good.

    • IMO opinnion boost attack, health, attack debuff, defense debuff for all situations and that means xenas gear unless they have 1 certain troop then boost the opposite or if the target is smaller and you can zero them in 1 or 2 solo hits boost defense during kvk ke to prevent points loss. Can’t go wrong there. Pretty basic for people wondering. Slag is doing a great job here none the less tho. I regret not finding this website before. Salt I’ll add you to p.m my name is xrip***** I love discussing gear

  59. Wasn’t emphasizing enough* they aren’t good people save your silver haha

  60. What salt heart said I think was emphasizing that poseidons tails sucks, I have anniversary boots slag stompers harvest boots, every good pair of shoes, and yes poseidons tail, they sit without gems because the only use I had for them was construction, the blue dancing shoes (elite) are top choice for anyone in any situation.

  61. Regarding the comment on Poseidon Tale warranting a spot. It’s “ok” if you are sending mixed troops or want a “general” set of shoes. Undeniably Elite toes are a far better choice. I’m unclear why they aren’t high on the list. -33% troop attack debuff against 3 troop types is pretty wicked.

  62. I’m looking for some
Comments on wonder battles. Which boosts are best?

  63. the shield from foes and the razor ribbon wand in my opinion are the exact same. they just achieve the result in a different way. A defense debuff is the same as boosting you defense, likewise an attack debuff is the same as boosting your health. Thought? If that’s correct then crafting whichever one you can in the best odds for your mats is the way to go.

    • meant to say that the reason i see them as the same is because the % are the same at legendary. 30 and 33

      • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hi – defense debuff increases damage by reducing your opponent’s defense. Defense boost reduces the damage you take. They are not the same – hope that makes sense.

  64. This is great thanks, do you have this for other things like best gear for research?

  65. Thanks for the update with Bargain Gear, that is awesome! Would be exceptionally cool if you could sort by Max Hero level on the Gear tool, btw.

  66. I noticed the test results were done with only 250k troops defending the stronghold you were attacking. Did the strong hold have 125k t4 or at least t3 traps and how would results vary attacking a stronghold with 800k troops defending? Also does this single troop type Attack method apply with rallies as well? I have so many more questions im very eager to learn more. I’ve been playing this game for 5 months now and this single troop Attack method conflicts with everything I’ve heard, Attack methods I and many others use and gear selection.

  67. Do you have a list of best gear for a rally leader? With most players using anti scout it’s hard to focus on one specific type of gear…infantry, ranged, calvary

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hi, the Attack List includes leading rallies. If you are uncertain about your first attack then by all means use defensive gear until you can see their troop composition.

  68. How is a apollos boots higher then Leonidas in defense list and lower in bargain list

  69. Hey, have you considered making a setup similar to this, but restricted to gear that strictly uses normal materials and does not include special event materials? As a free player I find it hard to acquire mass amounts of any of the event materials

  70. Hi, does the troop attack boost apply when you are being attacked/defending?

  71. Hey Slaggy,
Great information you have here. Is there any way you could make a list of the most cost effective gear pieces… I.E. non special event gear? I just got my level 50 hero and want to craft some gold level gear so that I can take hits from t4 solo waves with my t3 account reinforced with t4. I’ve been crafting gear based on health and attack, but a list of the “best” gear with no special materials would be reassuring to make sure I am on the right track, lol.

    Also,
As a player getting his kvk points solely off of defending with reinforcements, would making a set based solely on attack be better than an attack/health combo? 100 points for every dead t4 to 20 points in hospitalized t3 so the point disparity is 5-1…On paper it looks like killing t4 is a lot more valuable than protecting your t3.

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

      Hi, Working on it now!

And yes, if you don’t particularly care about keeping your troops alive then focussing on attack boost will score you the most KvK points.

      • Wow that was quick thanks man!

I have hospital beds and I heal or shield as needed so my t3 do not die, I am trying to figure out the best way to optimize my kvk score ratio. Your site has been extremely helpful so thank you.

  72. Is there any way you can note when this was last updated? Then we will know if it’s still up to date (which I assume it is at this point). I’m off to build suicide gear, didn’t realize I had legendary mats for most of them already!

  73. Hi Slaggy, I’m looking at Ornate Tusk and you have it 80.4% boosts. How are you getting this percentage?

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hi, the boosts on this page are weighted to reflect that some boosts are better than others. They should only be used for comparing to other equipment on this page.

  74. So clicking on the suicide gear I noticed it’s all based around infantry except for the anniversary armor. What are your recommendations on troops to use when using this gear? I can build all of it except the fire age accessories (3 blue flames haha smh). Thanks in advance, your website is great and even at 1b+ I regularly stop in to see what another experienced player has opinions on.

  75. I’m obviously being thick here. How are you figuring out the percentage? When looking at the Damascus steel fire sword on my game I see strategic troop health bonus 38%, troop health 38%, strategic troop attack 38% relic/core 25% and troop attack bonus 38%
Where is your 68% coming from?
Love this website by the way

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hi, thanks very much! The number is weighted to reflect that different boosts are better than others. The numbers on this page are only useful for comparing to others – it is not just a sum of all the boosts. Hope that makes sense!

  76. Ah ok.. so if I’m using ranged for example as 1 troop type attack.. I should find best ranged gear to fit that troop type. Will lists like that become available?

  77. If attacking with one troop type is best. Why does attack list items to be best.. when they have different troop bonuses

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

The attack list just takes into account the highest boost. So if it has 40% cavalry attack and 30% infantry it just takes the cavalry attack into consideration.

      • Hi Slaggy, this is very good site man thanks for all the good info. If it only takes into account the highest boost, like 40% cavalry (example above) and I have 100% troop attack boost. Do I get 140% cavalry attack boost as my total?

  78. Any Idea about the equipment we get in xena legendary chests

    • You get all materials in Xena set. But the materials are level 1-6 not only 6! You can get jewelry, plating… Not many death ashes, cotton or wax. I regret to have bought it

  79. Slaggy,
You’re on the right track but you need to separate this by troop type….as is this is inaccurate and misleading.

Do exactly what you’re doing but show what the best gear is if you want to spec cav, inf or ranged. A truly Herculean task will be when you someday get to working on cores and relics :). I have a bunch of that done I can probably send you.

  80. GREAT JOB FRIEND!! Thank you for all your hard work!

  81. Hey bud! Are you still going to give the update on the “best combat gear” ….please say yes lol Im eagerly waiting to craft 🙂

  82. Also, I started building a level 6 Fire-Tipped Spear before reading this. What do you think of that one? Should I gem it or build something else? Not much else that I can build level 6 atm. Thanks

  83. What i meant was like “Fire age” collection or “Xerxes” so they are easier to find. Not a big deal. 🙂

  84. Phoenix is coming to you

What about the Xena ribbon? If you combine the helm, ribbon and toes then your troops defence debuff is at 100%, isn’t that better?

  85. Before I build “The Best Combat Gear” ….Is it still the best?

  86. Could you do a list like this for levels 45 & 40? It would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, It is generally worth waiting until hero level 50 before crafting combat gear. There are a few exceptions to the rule though. I do have a guide to combat gear before hero-level 50 in mind.

  87. Can you please also list the event where to find the items? 🙂 thanks

Hi, do you mean solo/inferno events? They are constantly changing so wouldn’t be a tremendous amount of use.

      • He means which “Special Event” that it comes from… A column saying such and such is from Halloween 2014 for example. Does make it very helpful if your looking to go make it.

  88. It wouldn’t make any difference. If you send all infantry, 20% troop attack is better than 50% infantry attack. Unless they changed the algoryhtems in the past few months.

Curious as to why you feel you should be attacking with one troop type?

  89. Hit send too soon. 🙂

For the same reason, jennicides and walkers are far better than pestatos, which isn’t even in top 10 accessories anymore.

Hi Jake, yes in the defensive gear section Troop Attack is essentially valued at 3 x single troop type attack. It is not so clear-cut when attacking though as you should generally just be attacking with one troop type.

      • When you say attack with one troop type does that mean with or without siege. We have a big debate going on about whether or not you have to bust the walls before you can get to the troops inside. some recommend high siege on the first hit. Some say leave it out all together. What do you think and what is your evidence?

      • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hi Chris, I have only partially tested this so don’t take this as fact. Siege is only worthwhile if the traps form a big proportion of the defending troops. If they have 125k traps and 2m troops, do not send siege. If they have 125k traps and 125k troops then do send siege. It is not the case that you have to ‘punch through’ traps. If this was the case then no troops would die until all traps were destroyed (clearly not the case).

  90. Troop Attack has the effect of 3 times infantry, Calvary, or ranged attack. So you need to multiply troop attack points by 3 when adding up points for gear. For instance, Damascus Sword is better than Spear of Fire. That’s why it costs more.

  91. Does anyone know if Xena’s Legendary Chest gives only Legendary Materials? The picture is very deceiving because the background of the chest is orange :/ Also, that gold package gives so few chests and so little gold compared to other gold packages.

  92. Elite toes are trap attack are they not

  93. Great site. How do I create more space for inventory. I’m combining my materials, does that help?

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hi, if you want more space for crafted items you can use Equipment Bags. I wouldn’t buy these if you can wait….you will get more than you can ever use in the form of gifts.

  94. What about poseidon tail?

    • Profile photo of Slaggy

Hi, it’s a very decent item but you can get better combat stats on other gear.

      • Whale Tail is the second best footwear, less than 1 point different from harvest boots. You have to multiply troop attack points by three when comparing gear. We have researched this for months. This guy has a great website here, but he needs to make this correction or people will be mislead as to what to craft.

        See my previous comment 🙂

      • Well, I’m nitpicking a bit :). My alliance found this site and they are questioning my guidance. Lol

It’s a great site overall. Best one I’ve seen about GoW.

Thanks Jake, glad you appreciate it. Advising on gear is no easy thing – it really does depend on the situation. Recommending troop attack is solid advice though as it is good in all scenarios.

      • slaggy i think your wrong. 10% troop attack = 10% cavlary attack/infantry/ attack/ranged attack. Poseidons tail is arguably one of the top 3 footwares in the game. Id reconsider a few point on these lists.

      • Profile photo of Slaggy

Reindor – sorry about the late reply. Just to explain, that is exactly how the defensive list works. 10% troop attack = 10% cavalry/infantry/ranged attack

I agree with jake 100%. Some of the items are surprisingly on the top and others are missing. Adding up the total combat boost without regards to the effectiveness they bring will lead to very wrong conclusions. Xena crown is a piece of crap for instance but its review is excellent, and Reapers hood doesnt make it to the top 3? A multiplier is important especially with for Attack boosts areas.

Hi King, this page has been updated since Jake’s comment. The list now takes into account the different effectiveness of boosts – if you read the introduction to the page hopefully this should be clear.

  95. Where you standing on the debuff other articles says only for ralley leaders but blog say it gona play big attack role in past post and now MZ introduce new xena gear with attack debuff and thanks for all the great info

  96. Thanks for great advice slag:)
